On the third day of Christmas, God gave to me... the Good Shepherd.
Jesus Christ, our Good Shepherd, knows each of us by name. He tenderly watches over us, guiding us to safety and nourishing our souls.
"I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep."
John 10:11
There’s something so tender about the image of Christ as the Good Shepherd. He knows each of us personally, just as a shepherd knows his flock. In my life, there have been times when I’ve felt lost or unsure, but looking back, I see how He gently guided me back to safety.
His love is constant and unwavering, even when we stray. This Christmas, let us remember that He is always reaching out to us, calling us by name, and leading us to green pastures. Trust in His guidance, and you’ll find the peace and direction your heart longs for.
"As the Good Shepherd, He will always lead us to green pastures and living waters."
— Dieter F. Uchtdorf
Today, I invite you to reflect on how Christ, the Good Shepherd, has guided and cared for you. Think of moments when His love brought you back from feeling lost, and take time to thank Him. If you feel prompted, reach out to someone who may need a reminder that they are not forgotten. Together, we can help others feel the tender care of our Good Shepherd.
